Werewolves worship the moon, the earth, and all of nature. The Tribe of great black-furred werewolves known as Shadow Lords serve the spirit called Grandfather Thunder, god of the sky and of storms, who is served by his messengers, the Stormcrows. In the roiling tumble of dark clouds and the distant rumble of thunder, the Shadow Lords hear the voice of their patron, who instructs them in the ways of war and power.
